| My CHICK BROODER This spacious homemade brooder was at one time my son's Lego playtable. Approx. 30" wide by 54" long - holds alot of chicks! I bolted on some plexiglass sides for draft control. A brooder heat lamp hangs approx 15" above litter. There is also a thermometer at each end. Bonus storage drawers in each end! |

| GQF Sportsman Incubator My silkie hens are getting some help this year! Introducing my new "used" incubator. This model has three setting trays and a hatching compartment. The trays rotate every three hours automatically turning the eggs. The clear door gives me a "bird's eye view" of all the inner goings on. |
| My Silkies enjoying newly installed "Breeding Pens" Recycled chain link dog kennels inside the barn make for great winter quarters. PVC feeders and hanging water buckets are conviently accessed from outside the cages. A single large straw-filled nestbox is located in the rear equipped with a brooder lamp if temps drop too low. |
